Manos Chatiras was born in Athens on 03-08-1977. He is a recognized executive and proven business builder with an impeccable track record in the world of high finance across London and New York. His experience in building new businesses within supranational organizations gives him an invaluable understanding of how global businesses operate. He is currently CEO & Co-Founder of HEXO MED S.A. Manos has 15 years of investment management and finance experience, including 10 years (2009 -2019) at Deutsche Bank across its investment bank and asset management divisions where he most recently held the position of Managing Director, Global Head of Hedge Funds. Previously, as Managing Director, Global Head of Multi-Asset Products, Manos was responsible for the Alternatives business in the investment bank. Under Manos’ leadership the team had been directly responsible for a total of $12 billion of assets and had been repeatedly recognized as the Best Overall Investment Platform. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Manos held a position at Credit Agricole as the Head of Manager Research for Equities in Europe and was a member of the investment committee. He started his professional career in 2004 in New York as hedge fund analyst at Lyra Capital LLC. During his overall financial career he has been involved with almost all markets, including the information technology market, having also analyzed Hedge Funds investments in the information technology area. Manos has been the author of academic and practitioner articles with work published by Wiley Publications as well as by The Journal of Alternative Investments. Manos holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts in the U.S. and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maine in the U.S. where he graduated Cum Laude.
