Brief Description of the Project
Space Hellas was contracted the procurement, installation and setting to operation at client's premises of a unified voice/data network. This project was intended to meet the client's current and future needs for voice/data communication among its facilities in the same building.
On the basis of project requirements the necessary equipment (network components and computer systems) was installed in the building to meet the networking needs of the client. More specifically, the following were installed: a router to connect the client's LAN with the Internet, and three Fast Ethernet switches, one of which functions as a backbone switch, while the other two function as end-user switches (all switches are of Cisco Systems technology).
The cat-5 structured cabling system, two Compaq servers in cluster configuration, UPS units and other equipment were also installed.
