Space Hellas implements the first Software Defined Networking Project at the Data Center of the National Bank of Greece
The National Bank of Greece assigned to Space Hellas the implementation of a pioneer project, which is carried out for the first time in our country. It concerns the introduction of the modern technology under the name Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) of Cisco, placed in the heart of the NBG Data Centers, in order to reinforce the business performance of the Bank, as well as its flexibility and competitiveness.
The ACI technology constitutes the most comprehensive and integrated Software Defined Networking solution for the Data Centers infrastructure, as it supports natural, virtual and Cloud environments with Central Management and common Policy Framework. The National Bank chooses to constantly invest on cutting edge technologies, aiming at leading the effort for digital forefront and diversification, thus creating a flexible environment that supports the applications developers of the organization and helps at the rapid circulation of new products and services.
Since 1985, Space Hellas is a pioneer company in the technology field, and its valuable collaboration with the National Bank outlines a significant 35-year course.
