The competitive advantages of Space Hellas heavily depend on its scientific and technological excellence. The Research and Development (R&D) department focuses on promoting this excellence, by analyzing the latest technological developments and focusing on the technologies with the stronger exploitation potential in the mid- and long-term.

By participating in European and National R&D projects, as well as internal projects, the company adopts and develops cutting-edge technologies, products and services, while at the same time expanding its partner network. In close collaboration with the Innovation and Business Development units, the company continuously seeks opportunities for commercial exploitation of the products and the services which are developed. In addition, the know-how and expertise gained are directly applied in large scale commercial projects.
