The LINGUARISE DC project addresses the critical need for advanced language processing solutions in European defence sector. The complexity of international missions demands effective language capabilities to overcome challenges such as linguistic diversity, limited training time, reliance on human interpreters, and security concerns. The project seeks to revolutionize language capabilities by developing a human language technology platform to enhance ad-hoc coalition missions and C4ISR capabilities led by the European Union (EU) and NATO.
LINGUARISE DC is structured on three main research pillars:

3. Language Data Processing, Fusion, Interoperability Fitting
LINGUARISE DC will deliver a range of components, including front-end user applications, a workflow designer, content editor, operational whiteboarding, visual analytics, speech-to-text and text-to-speech transformers, and more.
