The Space Hellas Group maintains EBITDA at € 9.3 million and reduces total borrowing by 9% in the 2025 1st semester
The consolidated turnover of Space Hellas in the first half of 2025 amounted to € 72.0 million, compared to € 78.9 million in 2024, representing a decrease of 8.9%.
In contrast, gross profits increased to € 16.7 million against € 15.7 million in the first semester of 2024, while EBITDA remained at €9.3 million, as in the corresponding period of 2024.
Consolidated profit before tax amounted to € 2.2 million in the first half of 2025 compared to € 2.1 million in the first half of 2024 and profit after tax amounted to € 1.5 million in the first half of 2025 compared to € 1.4 million in the corresponding period of 2024.
For the parent company, the turnover closed at € 56.8 million in the first half of 2025, compared to € 66.5 million in 2024, showing a decrease of 14.6% while EBITDA amounted to € 6.7 million against € 6.5 million in the same period of 2024.
The profit before tax of the parent company for the first half of 2025 amounted to € 2.1 million compared to € 2.5 million in 2024 and the corresponding results after tax amounted to € 1.9m. compared to € 2.1 million showing a decrease of 14.8% and 7.7% respectively.
Cash flows from operating activities were positive by € 9.2 million and were channeled mostly into a decrease in the Group's total borrowing of € 7 million or 9% Cash flows from investment activities amounted to € -2.9 million and cash flows from financial activities amounted to € -9 million, imprinting the reduction of the group's total borrowing.
For the end of the year, the Group's management aims, as already communicated, at an increase in operating profit and profit after tax, while at the same time reducing total lending. The turnover for the second half of the year is expected to be higher, as is traditionally the case, which will lead to an increase in the annual turnover.
The Executive Chairman of the Space Hellas Group, Mr. Spyros Manolopoulos, stated: “The Space Hellas group has strengthened its market position for several years and is implementing significant high added value projects with a horizon of implementation extending beyond 2026. At the same time, it is pursuing new projects and activities by leveraging the capabilities of the group's companies SingularLogic, SenseOne, Web-IQ, AgroApps and Mobics, shaping prospects for future development and added value. The prospects for the second half of the year follow the trends of previous years on turnover levels, with particular emphasis on improving profitability, which was not imprinted in the first half.”
