Summary:

Be Secure-Feel Secure (BSFS) aims to reinforce urban security and promote positive perception of urban safety by providing strategies & tools to link the main urban security stakeholders & facilitate their collaboration in physical and cyber space.

In the frame of the project, the CURiM (Collaborative Urban Risk Management) platform is implemented. CURiM collects information from heterogeneous sources, namely the Police case management system, open online sources, smart sensors, municipality’s digital infrastructure and the “voice of the citizens” conveyed through the CURiM mobile app. The information is ingested in a risk management engine towards the production of advanced crime risk reports for the city of Piraeus.
