Summary:

The battle against corruption has encountered significant hurdles, from the lack of informed policy decisions to the complexity of the corruption landscape. Existing efforts to measure corruption often rely on subjective methods, and the absence of suitable technological tools compounds the challenge. With this in mind, the EU-funded FALCON project will create and manage comprehensive corruption intelligence pictures within specific domains and jurisdictions.

Using a data-driven, multi-actor approach, it builds on existing assets and partner expertise. Specifically, FALCON will develop corruption indicators to inform policy decisions using data analytics tools. This will facilitate comprehensive corruption risk assessments, enhance policymaking and improve anti-corruption law enforcement.
