Despite the fact that Free Space Optics have not been applied widely in Greece, the Free Space Optics technology seems to be one of the most cost-effective and reliable access solutions when dealing with the need for secure and interference-free point-to-point interconnections. Having installed a multitude of Free Space Optics connections, Space Hellas is in the position to provide a site survey as well as supply and installation of the necessary equipment in line with the customers requirements. What’s more, it is also possible to offer solutions that combine Free Space Optics with automatic switchover to microwave link or WiFi, in the event a standby network is required.
