Brief Description of the Project

In year 2001 Space Hellas was contracted the design and installation of a communications network to link GLOU Bros chain of stores, for alternate data exchange (outside Forthnet). GLOU Bros' growth in recent years increased the company's retail outlets, counting 30 around the country today. To meet the client's networking needs, we applied the Frame Relay technology. In addition to voice transmission, we utilized the client's existing equipment to create an integrated voice network.

In particular, the Space Hellas' solution included the following:

• wide area network of VMS frame relay technology
• integrated voice and data network for increased voice applications
• we applied a wireless laser connection to meet connection requirements between the local networks of main offices and the adjacent warehouse

In addition to the design and installation of the above solution, Space Hellas has also been contracted the maintenance of the entire Glou Bros' network in Greece .
