Forest Fire Detection

Space Hellas is providing integrated solutions for forest fire detection, combining visual control by special cameras, with telemetry control and information collected by temperature sensors, placed in the area under supervision. The data collected from all devices is transferred to the control center using per case, the most appropriate technology (GPRS/3G, WiFi, Satellite Communications, etc), in order to coordinate the firefighting efforts. Using special algorithms to detect smoke and flame, fire detection is possible even if the flame is confined to a few square meters.
