Furthermore, Space Hellas is certified according to ISO 27001:2013 for its Information Security Management System which has designed and been maintaining since 2009, at the level of the organization and for all its activities, its branch offices in Greece, its subsidiary in Cyprus and its sub-subsidiaries in Malta, Serbia and Romania. The Information Security Department of the company, offers a wide range of products and services related to Compliance and Certification, including the ISO / IEC 27001:2013, ADAE, GDPR, Business Continuity Management, the PCI DSS Standard, the Bank of Greece Directives and SOX.
Always innovative and with particular sensitivity, Space Hellas combines its growth with environmental protection, by making daily efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its activities. Aligning economic viability and optimum infrastructure efficiency with the social and moral responsibilities arising from the need to reduce the energy and environmental footprint in the natural environment, Space Hellas applies the principles of Green IT to both its information systems and technological infrastructure. Within the scope of the commitment of the company for an environmentally responsible operation, we develop and implement an Environmental Management System according to the international standard ISO14001:2015 for which we have been certified by an independent internationally recognized certifying body. Furthermore, Space Hellas has joined the Approved Collective Alternative Management System for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. It participates in the Collective Alternative Packaging Management System, organized by the Hellenic Recovery-Recycling Corporation SA (HERRCo), which is concerned with the alternative management of packaging waste. The company implements recycling programs for paper, portable batteries, ink and toner cartridges. Finally, the procurement of electronic products is done only from RoHS (Registration of Hazardous Substances) certified manufacturers, so that the packages are free from hazardous substances and heavy metals.
Furthermore, Space Hellas considers as a top strategic priority the Health and Safety of its workers during the performance of their duties. For this reason, it monitors the relevant legislation and ensures its full adherence. Moreover, Space Hellas has developed and maintains an Occupational Safety and Health Management System, which was certified to OHSAS 18001:2007 in 2016.
