Brief Description of the Project

This particular project assigned to Space Hellas on behalf of the Ministry of National Economy, comprises the supply, installation and put into operational readiness of a network's active equipment accompanied by the corresponding maintenance and training services with the aim of meeting the Information System for Project for the Monitoring of the Community Framework of Support.

The equipment utilized for setting up the broad band network and the peripheral systems has been installed both at the central office and the various regional services of the Ministry of national Economy. It has also been installed at associate Entities and ensures the security – management – transmission of the information transferred. It consists of Cisco (7206 VXR, 2620, 1720) routers, a Cisco Essentials management system, a Firewall system Cisco PIX, hubs 3 Com, approximately fifty baseband modems made by RAD, passive equipment (Racks) etc.
